For over ten years, musicians aspiring to a music programme at MBO or HBO level have found their way to my practice. Think of programmes such as the Conservatory (HBO), the Herman Brood Academy (MBO), the Dutch Pop Academy (MBO), the Rockacademie (HBO) and the Artist Music programmes (MBO). In the Noordwest-Veluwe and Flevoland regions, this is the go-to practice for that goal.
You’ll be fully prepared for the demanding entrance exam, which consists of a practical exam (an audition) and a theory exam (general music theory, harmony and solfège).
It’s advisable (though not required) to take at least one hour of lessons a week in the year before the entrance exam, or better still the two preceding years, and where possible to reserve at least three hours of daily practice in the run-up, so you’re as prepared as possible for the fairly strict entry requirements.
With lesson locations in Ermelo and Zeewolde, I’m easy to reach for music lovers from Ermelo, Harderwijk, Putten, Nijkerk, Nunspeet, Elburg, Barneveld, Amersfoort, Zeewolde, Lelystad, Almere and the wider Noordwest-Veluwe and Flevoland region.
