Fretly, the interactive guitar neck

The guitar neck. For a lot of guitarists it’s a maze: six strings, a pile of frets, and somewhere in between all those scales and chords. I’ve stood next to students at exactly that point for years. So besides teaching, I built two things. Myself. And I’ll be honest: I’m proud of them.

Fretboard Knowledge

Fretboard Knowledge is my knowledge base about the guitar neck. Articles about scales, chords and the theory behind them, always brought back to practice. Not a dry reference, but explanations you can use on the neck right away. Start with how to apply the C major scale, or dive into the CAGED system. Read, grab your guitar, play.

Fretly

Reading is one thing. Seeing is another. That’s why I built Fretly: an app that shows every scale, mode, chord and voicing on the guitar neck, in the key and tuning you play. What stays abstract on paper is right there in front of you. Have a look. This is the C major scale across the whole neck, exactly the view I use in my lessons:

This is not a picture, it’s alive. That’s how the neck slowly becomes yours.

In lessons

In my musical workshop it all comes together. You, your guitar, and tools that work. We don’t read about music, we make music, hands on the neck. Fretboard Knowledge and Fretly simply come along.

Want to experience that? Come in for a trial lesson. Bring your guitar and we’ll get straight to work.
